[DRAFT — legal review required]
Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026 (AWST) — draft, not yet legally reviewed.
This describes the data the voip.one marketing site collects and the choices you have. It covers this public site only — not the hosted phone platform, which is governed separately.
Who we are
This site, voip.one, is operated by VoipOne. [Operating legal entity to be confirmed before publishing — Strategy O1.] You can reach us at hello@voip.one.
The short version
This is a marketing site. We don't run analytics or set any non-essential cookies unless you accept them. If you email us, we'll have your email and whatever you send. We don't sell your data.
Analytics and cookies
If you accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (country or region level), and what device and browser they use. This is collected through cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and shared with Google, who process it for us. Until you accept, Google Analytics doesn't load and these cookies aren't set. If you decline, it stays off and we clear the Google Analytics cookies. We store your choice in your browser's local storage — not a cookie — so we don't ask again each visit, and you can change it anytime with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
If you contact us
If you email us at hello@voip.one, we receive your email address and your message, and we keep it to reply and follow up. We don't collect personal details through a form on this site.
How we use your information
[Legal basis / purpose — confirm with legal.] We use analytics to improve the site and contact details to respond to you. We don't use your information for automated decision-making, and we don't sell it.
Who we share it with
Google, for analytics, if you accept. [Any other processors — confirm with legal.] Otherwise we don't share your information except where required by law.
How long we keep it
[Retention periods — confirm with legal. GA4 retention is configurable in the GA property; contact emails kept as long as needed to respond and per our records policy.]
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw cookie consent anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can opt out of Google Analytics on all sites with Google's browser add-on. [Your rights under the Australian Privacy Act and any other applicable law — access, correction, and how to complain to the OAIC — confirm and complete with legal.]
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date shows when. [Confirm notification approach with legal.]
